Oshawa, ON, July 10, 2025 – Complete Packaging Systems is happy to announce a key leadership change. Effective immediately, Kris Gresham has been promoted to President of CPS.
Over the past year, former President Darren Burden has been mentoring Kris and preparing him for the transition into this well-deserved promotion. Moving forward, Burden will be transitioning into a strategic advisory position. In this new capacity, he will continue to provide valuable guidance and support to the leadership team and the company’s long-term vision.
Since joining CPS, Kris has been instrumental in shaping our growth strategy, building strong relationships across North America, and delivering outstanding results. His leadership has consistently elevated our commitment to providing innovative, reliable cargo securement solutions to our customers and partners.
As President, Kris will continue strengthening partnerships with customers and manufacturers while leading CPS’s strategic growth. His focus remains on delivering innovative solutions and positioning CPS as an industry leader.

About Kris
Raised in a U.S. Marine Corps family, Kris embodies the values of discipline, integrity, and perseverance. He attended the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and went on to enjoy a nine-year career in professional baseball. After retiring from sports in 1999, he transitioned into the industrial sector, serving as Director of Sales at a leading cargo securement manufacturer for over a decade. There, he built a reputation for driving sales performance and building long-term client relationships.
In 2012, Kris joined Complete Packaging Systems, industry leader in the development and supply of cargo securement products, where he now serves as President. With a deep passion for sales and customer success, Kris is dedicated to positioning Complete Packaging Systems as the most innovative, knowledgeable, and respected company in the cargo securement sector. His leadership approach emphasizes strategic foresight, consultative selling, and a commitment to building enduring partnerships.
